Chronic Conditions & Pain Management

Chronic pain can cause problems for some people; this is pain that continues after an injury is healed, for example, or for which no cause can be found. Pain is a subjective experience and as such will be experienced differently by different people; their pain may span a full range of sensations and intensity. The pain may be constant, or may come and go. Sometimes, chronic pain may be due to a chronic condition such as arthritis or fibromyalgia. There are a number of techniques that can be used with pain relief, by using hypnosis and then self-hypnosis, many people are able to find ways of better coping with their discomfort.
